Sam was the BEST thing we could have done for our birth of our first baby! Between the prenatal and postnatal appointments, and the birth help, having a doula was such a great decision. Let alone that Sam is an amazing doula herself. She was so helpful preparing us for labor, giving us tips, techniques, and her own birth experiences. This wa a extremely helpful helping my husband and I really prepare for what was coming. She helped us create birth affirmations, showed us laboring positions, talked about roles of one another during labor, explained what could happen is our labor looked different than we had imagined, helped with breast feeding and much much more. She was the greatest help during labor. Between going in and out of prelabor, labor and postnatal care she was great! She gave us many helpful tips to get things going, helped us evaluate when we should go in for the birth, helping with labor pains in ways I couldn't even express that I needed, and helped guide our decisions through showing the pros and cons. 
I would 100000% use a doula again, and this doula would for sure be Sam. I was so grateful to have her at my birth and to have her support throughout my pregnancy. She is truly invested, allowing you to call/text anytime you may need something. She even came out to the house, making a trip that was unplanned, to help me try to spin baby to get things going! She was amazing.
